Hi!

I’m back 😀

I really need to get some kind of schedule going when it comes to my blog posts. When I go more than a few days without posting, I start to get anxious since most of the blogs I follow post everyday. I’m in no way on their level since for many of them it’s their actual job, but I do want to post more regularly. I’m thinking about typing up multiple posts and then just scheduling them every few days. My life isn’t that interesting so I don’t see the need to post everyday. 

In my last post I mentioned I was going to do a round of Whole30 next month and it’s still going to happen. I’ve been reading the book and while I’m not looking forward to giving up my favorite foods, I am looking forward to the positive changes that will take place in my body. Right now I often get headaches and my knees have been bothering me more than usual lately so the elimination of certain foods may benefit me. 

I bought some May Design books to keep track of my workouts and my Whole30 journey. They’re so cute!

  

Other happenings…

  

I signed up for the Tinker Bell Pixie Dust Challenge, taking place May 7-8, 2016. 10k one day and a half marathon the following day. Am I nuts? Quite possibly. I’m actually looking forward to it though. As expensive as Disney races are, I’m willing to run some at least one time. 

So right now I have two races scheduled for 2015, Carlsbad and Tinker Bell. I want to do some Rock ‘n Roll races next year as well but haven’t decided which ones.

This morning I finished up week 5 and I can definitely feel my endurance increasing. I’m proud of myself for sticking with this.
